T H E I R H E R O S T O R Y
A proud U.S. Navy Seabee, Robert (Bob) Shute served in Vietnam in 1966–1967.
He served on a select carpentry crew that built essential facilities for the Marines, including sniper towers, medical storage warehouses, and other camp maintenance projects.
At just 22, Bob dedicated two years of his life to serving our country under dangerous conditions.
Today, he would be honored and grateful to receive a flag recognizing his service and sacrifice for our nation.
