Graduated Lehigh University (BS degree, Industrial Engineering) and Fordham University (Masters of Business Administration degree, Management Systems). Proudly served 28 years as an Officer in the US Army’s Corp of Engineers and holds a Military Science certification. Licensed professional Financial Planner with investment securities designations including the Series 7 and Series 63, and licenses in the Life and Health Insurance field. Holds unique professional designations: the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) which relates to estate planning and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) which relates to Trust investment portfolio management. Ed is a husband, parent, community volunteer, retired Lieutenant Colonel and small business owner. His life’s passions, both professionally and personally, focus on service and leadership. He cherishes his family and friends, religious faith and charitable causes, as well as his clients & colleagues of the local independent financial services practice, Lynch Wealth Strategies, Inc.. Ed has two grown children, Sarah and Michael, and successfully managed parallel careers until his military retirement in 2011. Ed and his wife Susan own and manage small businesses and are very active in the Warwick community. Ed served as a coach in Warwick youth Little League, Lacrosse and Soccer and as a Committee Chair in the Boy Scouts. He’s an active member of: Association of US Army, Warwick Knights of Columbus (4th Degree Knight and Chapter Secretary), Warwick American Legion, Warwick & Goshen Chambers of Commerce, Middletown Chapter of Business Networking International and Warwick Valley Rotary Club (currently Vice President). |

Lieutenant Gustavo A. Rodriguez is a retired member of the New York City Police Departments Intelligence Bureau. He joined the NYPD in 1998. While earning his Master’s Degree in homeland security at the Naval Post Graduate School he penned, “Creating Domestipol: Increasing National Resilience by Reflecting on the NYPD Counter Terrorism Model,” which was awarded the Senator John Warner Homeland Security award. In June of 2011, Lieutenant Rodriguez served in the NYPD’s International Liaison Program as the department representative with the Singapore Police Force, covering South East Asia. In 2013, Lieutenant Rodriguez was assigned to complete a fellowship at the FBI’s National Cyber Investigative Joint Task Force in Washington D.C. In 2015, Lieutenant Rodriguez was then assigned to the FBI NY Cyber Task Force, as the NYPD Lead on a Cyber Terrorism Squad, until his retirement in March 2022. Lieutenant Rodriguez also introduced the concept of Cyber Command to the City of New York on January 23, 2015-two and a half years later-in July 2017-NYC Cyber Command, was launched. |
