Annual Goshen Rotary 5/10K Road Race

REGISTRATION:

Race Day Registration starts at 6:30am at Orange County Government Center, 255 Main Street, Goshen NY 10924.

Bib pick-up and pre-registration on Friday, July 5, 4:30 to 7:00 PM at the Cataract Fire House, Green Street.

Race day registration begins July 6 at 6:30 AM at the Government Center, 255 Main Street. Arrive early to avoid congestion.

Parking at the Orange County Government Center, Scotchtown Ave.

PLEASE REGISTER EARLY TO AVOID RACE DAY CONGESTION AND TO INSURE THAT YOU RECEIVE THE COMMEMORATIVE T-SHIRT.

HOST:

This race is hosted by the Goshen Rotary Club - a member of Rotary International. Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad. The Rotary motto is “Service above Self”. All race proceeds help us to help others.

COURSES:

Both the 5k and 10k are certified courses. Measurements were completed by Brian Cavanagh.

Both races start at the same time and place at the Government Center, 255 Main Street.

5K: Left on Erie Street, left on Main Street, right on Orange Ave, right on Parkway, left at Old Chester Road, back on Old Chester Road, right on Park Place and finishes in front of the Surrogate Courthouse.

10K: Left on Erie Street, left on Main Street, right on Orange Ave, right on Parkway, Left on Arthur Place, left at McBride Place, left at Orange Ave, right on Main Street, right at Craigville Road, right at Knoell Rd., right on Old Chester Rd., back onto South Church St., and finishes in front of the Surrogate Courthouse on Park Place.

AWARDS:

Awards will be presented at the courthouse. Trophies awarded to the top 3 overall males and females in the 5k and 10k events. Additional awards will be presented three deep in the age divisions.

There will be refreshments and food (bagels, bananas, etc) available at the finish line.

T-SHIRTS TO FIRST 500 REGISTERED. MUST RUN TO RECEIVE T-SHIRT. SHIRTS NOT PICKED UP WILL BE RELEASED TO VOLUNTEERS ON RACE DAY. SORRY—NO SEPARATE WALKING RACE. WALKERS ARE WELCOME AND START WITH RUNNERS. COURSE CLOSES AT 9:30 AM ANYONE NOT FINISHED WILL NOT BE SCORED. WALKERS WILL BE SCORED AS A PARTICIPANT IN THE RUNNERS DIVISIONS. NO REFUNDS ONCE REGISTERED.
