SECURE ACT 12/19/19
Apr. 01, 2021
Thank you for the opportunity to speak with your group. I look forward to April 1st. I will be giving a quick introduction to myself and the organization I work with and then I will speak about he SECURE ACT that was passed on 12/19/19. I will review both the individual side as well as the business side of the ACT. I will discuss the changes to Required Minimum Distribution age, the elimination of the Stretch IRA, and the changes to Traditional IRA Contribution limits for the individual side of the SECURE ACT. I will discuss the changes regarding Small Business Tax Credits, Pooling Retirement Plans, and Annuity Offerings within group retirement plans for the business side of the SECURE ACT. I will leave a couple of minutes at the end for any questions that your members may have. I will have a few slides to share regarding the SECURE ACT and the last slide will have my contact information on it for anyone who would like to follow up with me afterwards. 300 Westage Business Center Drive Bryan Covert serves as an Investment Consultant at 1879

First let me start by thanking all the people who showed up last Saturday to paint. We had a great group and got the whole room primed. Those there were Ron K, Vince M, Betty, Chris T, Rob, Kieran, Rolly, & Pat. If I missed anyone, I do apologize. That being said, there is more to be done. This Saturday, 6/12 we want to try to finish the majority of the remaining painting. We will be doing the ceiling, the walls, and hopefully 1/2 of the floor. Since there are still objects on the floor, we will have to move them to one side and paint the open area. We can come back at a later date to move and finish the other side. We may need a small work detail down the road, but Saturday is the big push. We are close to the finish line!! We ask anyone who can spare some time to sign up and let's see if we can wrap this up. We will start at 9AM and, based on last week, be done around Noon. Thanks Rolly, Kieran, & Pat |
