In all, 4,600 underprivileged and disabled children attended the theme park compliments of Rotary District 1060 in conjunction with the National Rotary KidsOut Day. KidsOut Day is a June fixture, sponsors approximately 25,000 children for viisits to more than 90 venues. 650.000 children have participated in KidsOut Day in the U.K. over the last 27 years."

Sgt. @ Arms

Rob threw himself into the Sgt. @ Arms assignment! He actually took the time to look up the Official Job Description!  He began by collecting dollars from the late-comers, early leavers, and the pinless.

Buzz gave Happy $$ for his surgery and success of his School Supplies collection.

Harry gave Happy $$ as he gave us a Breaside Commercial and for Buzz.

Marty gave Happy $$ for Buzz's recovery!

Hannah gave Happy $$ for Buzz's recovery.

Rolly gave Happy $$ for "a fellow recovering joint replacement person" AND because he sat back while he let Susie power wash their house!

JIm gave Happy $$ for our prospective member Lisa, another to Buzz and another to something but I can't read my notes!

Rob then proceeded to play Backwards Triva (right answer - table is fined! Funniest Answer is rewarded!)

The Guest Speaker for today was supposed to be me, however, due to technical alterations to the overhead projector, we will have to reschedule my presentation of ClubRunner 101, and other neat applications you can learn. (I did notice that there was a sigh of relief when this was annnounced!)
